Ateeya Rabbani

Ateeya Rabbani is a health innovation executive whose work bridges venture building, translational research, and clinical practice. She works with clinicians, clinician-scientists, founders, and innovators to move ideas into health interventions, patient care pathways, and scalable models of care. Her work places particular emphasis on neuroscience and behavioral health.

She is Executive Director of the University of Toronto’s Ideation Clinic, a healthcare incubator focused on early-stage innovation, where she leads programming, teaches, and mentors clinicians, trainees, and innovators. Her work centers on building healthcare and life sciences ventures that move ideas from bench to bedside, with a strong focus on implementation, adoption, and real-world patient impact. Her students include trainees in neurosurgery and cardiology, as well as other clinicians working in the development and translation of healthcare innovation.

Ateeya serves as Clinical Director and Chief Operating Officer at a US-based behavioral health clinic, where she focuses on care delivery, implementation, clinician training, and patient care pathways. She has also spent years developing and leading Dialectical Behavior Therapy programs for patients with complex trauma, diagnostic complexity, and longstanding treatment resistance, grounding her leadership in the realities of behavioral health care.

She also founded Cognosco Noor Ltd., an incubator and advisory firm through which she has built and supported startups, guided organizational development, and helped move ventures from concept to execution.

Earlier in her career, she worked in corporate governance, investor advisory, private equity, management consulting, executive advisory, and executive mentorship. She studied Economics at York University and is currently completing her Master of Health Science in Translational Research at the University of Toronto’s Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Her academic work focuses on translating ideas into practice, with particular interest in implementation, applied research, early-stage patient engagement, and identifying gaps in care.
