Ateeya Rabbani
Ateeya Rabbani is a health innovation executive whose work bridges venture building, translational research, and clinical practice. She works with clinicians, clinician-scientists, founders, and innovators to move ideas into health interventions, patient care pathways, and scalable models of care. Her work places particular emphasis on neuroscience and behavioral health.
She is Executive Director of the University of Toronto’s Ideation Clinic, a healthcare incubator focused on early-stage innovation, where she leads programming, teaches, and mentors clinicians, trainees, and innovators. Her work centers on building healthcare and life sciences ventures that move ideas from bench to bedside. Her students include trainees in neurosurgery and cardiology, as well as other clinicians working in healthcare innovation.
Joseph Ferenbok, PhD
Dr. Joseph Ferenbok has an eclectic background that includes aspects of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, design, english literature, philosophy, engineering, computer science, humanities, biology, art history, surgery, and psychiatry.
He is the founding Director of the Translational Research Program (TRP), Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. The TRP is a graduate program focused on training interdisciplinary trainees to systematically apply scientific knowledge to improve medicine, health & care.
